Okay, it's more 'whole' than an espresso but it's still a stimulant.

I also find chocolate is too much of a laxative.

At best it's a fun treat now and but something to be sprinkled over everything. Probably not!Bristol Raw Foodisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14569562117476654791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1227591395966495076.post-80751968589223040522008-08-03T06:43:00.000-07:002008-08-03T06:43:00.000-07:00Great article - and good to see carob getting some...Great article - and good to see carob getting some positive coverage, as opposed to everything being focused on cacao. I've made recipies before where I've used half carob, half cacao and this works well. I get raw carob in the UK from the Fresh Network, but I think Shazzie sells it as well.

DavidDavid Cohenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01133946446563395993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1227591395966495076.post-7262735111156295242008-07-29T12:05:00.000-07:002008-07-29T12:05:00.000-07:00Hi Debbie, Thanks for your message. Know what you ...Hi Debbie,

Thanks for your message. Know what you mean about cacao. I find it addictive and stimulating with a cummulative energy slump being the result if I eat too much over too many days. As you mentioned good as a way of transitioning though and for treats!

Hehe pigeon toes... it all sounds rather funny :-) Well they are actually just symptoms of the inward hips so guess I need to work on the hips! Let me know if you discover a cure though... Have been watching a quantum touch video today and they have amazing results with bones out of place so am going to try this at some point!

Yeah nice meeting all you guys as well. I am going to add your bog to my list too, once I have worked out how to do this! ;-)

See you Saturday!

Love and best wishes,

Alexia xAlexia Magdalenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09251543092795175376noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1227591395966495076.post-25081340840777633832008-07-27T04:57:00.000-07:002008-07-27T04:57:00.000-07:00wow. i never knew he used carob! i have the book, ...wow. i never knew he used carob! i have the book, but i did not see it..though, i have only been 'studying' the summer menu. ^___~
and, yeh, i shall post up the fudge..though it's not an 80/10/10 recipe. but i lOVE it.
be interesting to see how much i love it once i get further into this 811rv.
keep on doing what you do, deb! i am grateful!Milahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11881632776067987930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1227591395966495076.post-56221417215652413482008-07-26T20:52:00.000-07:002008-07-26T20:52:00.000-07:00Hi Mila-LuluMany thanks for comments - good to hea...Hi Mila-Lulu

Many thanks for comments - good to hear from you!

Reckon Dr Doug is fine with raw carob as it features in his daily meal plans. I think a lot of detoxyourworld.com foods actually come from Sunfood Nutrition, so in the US might be best to try there first (the health food carob may well not be raw).

Wondered if it would work as an ingredient in your fudge...if it does, could you post the recipe?Debbie Tookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10345367033617524547noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1227591395966495076.post-68545986774955952652008-07-26T15:55:00.000-07:002008-07-26T15:55:00.000-07:00another GREAT and INFORMATIVE blog post Debbie.you...another GREAT and INFORMATIVE blog post Debbie.
you know...i am starting to think we are on the same wave length.
i finished reading 811 book a couple days back. Decided to finish my MC fast early and starting the 811 slowly in (want to get my body readjusted to solids).

From reading his book, and this great one-pager 'bullet point' for natural hygeniene, it made me rethink my love of the Cacao. i never thought about carob. and, seeing it has such low fat, i wonder what Dr. Graham wOULD say about the carob?

furthermore, i just DUMPED all my spices, but have saved the powered 'superfood' i use to make my superfood fudge. BUT, have decided, instead, to make syonara batches out of it and bring it scotland at the end of this month as gifts.

i don't know about you..but Dr. G has quite the convincing arguement on MANY things, and i do like the 'natural' hygeniene approach.

i wonder how i can get a hold of raw carob powder here..wait...i think my health food store DID sell it....i am sure i can find it online.

anyhoo....sorry for the long post.
thanks for this FABULOUS READ! ^_________^Milahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11881632776067987930noreply@blogger.com
