The RawforLife Blog features news and articles on raw food and associated topics. Its aim is to inform, inspire and even entertain those on the raw food journey, whether 'just finding out', or raw for years.
If you like the blog and think it could be useful for others, please let them know about it. It is selling nothing, except health via raw food, and provides a free service for raw fooders and those finding out about raw food.

Please also consider visiting my main website, at http://www.rawforlife.co.uk/ for lots of (free) information on living on raw food, and links to past e-zines full of articles (and recipes).
Please note that although I'm obviously happy for my articles to be discussed on forums, could posters please read the whole articles before commenting, neither misquote nor misrepresent what I have said, and, if using Google translation, please bear in mind that meanings can be changed significantly in translation!
Disclaimer - please understand that I am neither doctor nor dietician, and although there are many in the raw food world claiming to be 'experts' when they have been raw for five minutes, or in fact aren't following a raw food diet at all, I have never described myself as an 'expert'. The articles are based on my (non-academic) research and experience as a raw fooder and are in the nature of information-gathering (which may well be biased in favour of the raw food vegan or vegetarian diet), opinions, musings and comments only. Anyone tempted to make radical changes to their diet on the basis of anything I have said is advised to consult an appropriately qualified person first, and...do their own research, as for just about everything I've claimed, you can be sure there'll be a highly qualified person saying the opposite, with stacks of studies to back it up.
I follow a high fruit mostly raw vegan diet. For over four years now I've varied between 90% and 100% raw and am thriving, having waved goodbye to countless ailments I had when 'cooked'.
I run RawforLife, a raw food information service based in Reading, Berks, UK.
